The Air Products Stand The Air Products Stand is probably one of the best 'solo' stands in the league. Towering about the town it holds 5,000 seats and gives a perfect view whereever you sit. inside the stand you've got all the usual. A bar, a 'snack' bar & toilets. It's all very clean and only 4 years old. Built in 1998 after the sale of Seth Johnson for £3.5million it could around that to build. Work started during the 97/98 season and was half built over the shed which was there before. The 'shed' was demolished and the Air Products Stand was completed and saw it's first Alex game in a 2-1 win at home to Hartlepool in the Worthington Cup in the 1999/2000 season. It smashed the capacity from just over 5,000 to a total of 10,118 along with the 5,000 fans it will also take up to 100 disabled supporters who will be placed right on the front row entering through the gates. It has its weak points though. The roof of the stand shadows half of the pitch and when frost hits there's a major problem with getting sun onto the effected areas. The club say it's being looked at. In 2003, due to the collapse of Railtrack, the stand name changed from The Railtrack Stand to the Air Products stand. Charles Audi Stand Well known as the family stand or the Railway End. The stand sits over looking the railway track and Crewe station, it is used for families who want to sit behind the goal in peace wiithout the swearing. It's rarely even half filled and at the start of the 00-01 season the club announced it would be given to teams with large followings. It only holds 650, being one of the smallest stands in the league. It holds the Alex suite for sponsorers or customers to have a pre-match meal and drink and half time 'refreshments'. They can also watch the game through the windows. There is also a section for partially sighted fans with audio commentary during the game.
Blue Bell BMW Stand The 1,500 houses the away fans.It was handed over to the away fans when the Railtrack Stand was built. Formerly the 'Pop Side' it is now the away end which gives a great view to the spoilt away fans. Although you may be unlucky enough to be stuck infront of one of the five posts which are places along the middle of the stand, any away fans will be notified if they have a restricted view. There's a snack bar which has the usual stuff but there is no alcohol on sale inside the ground for away fans. There are about 5 disabled spots placed to the far right of the stand, you can just see them in the above picture.
Adtranz Stand Well known amongst Alex fans as 'The Gresty Road End'. Holding just over 1,000 it's where the 'singers' of the fans sit with drums banging out on matchday and songs for 90 minutes. It's a popular stand to sit in with it being the first to sell out on major matchdays and is always holding over 800. There is no beer on sale though but there is the usual snack bar.
