How has Millwall's season gone so far?
We've started very brightly as far as our League campaign goes with two wins out of two against Wigan and Sunderland but our Carling Cup defeat at home to Oxford United proved just how weak with regards to the depth of our squad.
Fans ambitions for this season?
It's a make or break season for the Lions. With Mark McGhee's contract up at the end of the season, not to mention at least eleven first team players, there's everything to play for but anything other than promotion would be considered a failure.
Any new signings since last season?
It was very quiet during the summer, with only Arsenal's Brazilian youngster Juan coming in on loan but all of a sudden we've signed three players in the last fortnight - Noel Whelan from Middlesbrough, Belgium international Bob Peeters from Vitesse Arnhem and winger Aboubaka Fofana from Juventus (I kid you not!)
Star player to look out for?
The boy Fofana is meant to be the quickest thing on two legs but we're awaiting clearance for him so he may not play. I would therefore suggest you keep an eye on Dennis Wise - he's come back from the summer break a reformed character and ran the show last week up at the Stadium of Light.
Strong point in the Millwall team?
Our attack - fast, pacy and full of ideas (when everyone's fit) - and our goalkeeper. Tony Warner is a fantastic shot stopper.
Weak point in the Millwall team?
The defence. All four have weaknesses but are a sum of their parts - if one has an off day then we're screwed.
Know much about the Crewe team? Players that catch your eye etc?
Without wishing to sound patronising, I've always admired Dario Gradi's management style and he knows Crewe aren't going to win the Premiership within the next five years so always adjusts his sights accordingly and I knew you'd bounce straight back from Division Two. He also produces his fair share of talent and having failed to land Rob Hulse in the summer, rumour had it that we were after Dean Ashton. I quite like Clayton Ince as well - he's always looked impressive when I've seen him anyway!
Prediction....
I hate to say it, but I think it'll be 2-0 to Millwall. Having won up at Sunderland, and with two players making their debuts, the momentum will be just too strong for you lot. Then again, I thought we'd thump Oxford 5-0 so what do I know!
