Question Time: Burnley

Last updated : 31 March 2005 By Simon Turner
ST: What are your ambitions for the season?
PW: First and foremost to stay in the league. Getting to 50 points... then see what happens.

ST: Steve Cotterill. Is he liked?
PW: Very much so. He has brought in quality players and has finally sorted our defence out. Has a really positive persona and there is a real feeling he'll be very succesful at Burnley.

ST: Who should we be keeping an eye out for?
PW: Obviously Robbie Blake if he's still with us and also Richard Chaplow who will be in midfield.

ST: Weak links?

PW:Brian Jensen in goal. Prone to error and poor on crosses. Unfortunately currently our number 1 after Danny Coyne got injured.

ST: What do you know of Crewe? Who do you think will trouble you?
PW: Dean Ashton will be a handful as will David Vaughan. Crewe certainly have some quality, but hopefully we can capatilise on their weak defence.

ST: Best and worst fans you've come across so far?
PW: Worst Forest who consistantly sang about Derby and didn't have many fans. Best would have to be Aston Villa who had thousands of fans and sang throughout.

ST: Who is your fans' favourite?
PW:Robbie Blake. Top scorer and an extremely talented player.

ST: Any parasites on the books that need to be gotten rid of? Any turds that just won't flush round the u-bend?
PW: We have such a small squad we can't afford to get rid of anyone. Although Amadou Sanokho has looked pretty poor so far.

ST: What do you think of the Clarets board?

PW: Previously I was delighted with them but I'm very wary as to us selling Turf Moor. We shall see...

ST: Score?

PW:1-1
