It was Rodders who go Crewe both of their goals. It was a fairly comfortable victory that would have impressed Crewe after him saying it'll be Crewe's hardest pre-season game.

However the bad news is that Rodney Jack, David Wright, Wayne Collins and Rob Hulse all went off injured... it is not yet known how serious the injuries are.
