The academy youngsters bounced back after their 5-0 drubbing to Everton last week to claim a 2-2 draw against Liverpool.
As a result of the draw the youngsters dropped down to fourth in the league after Man United thrashed West Brom 7-0.
As for the game Crewe went into half-time 2-0 down after Liverpool scored from Nathan Eccleston and Michael Collins but pressure from Crewe in the second half ensured a 2-2 draw.
Luke Murphy scored his first goal of the campaign from a set piece and an own goal ensured that the comeback was complete.
Crewe have now two home games at the Heath against Wolves next week and Stoke the week after that and no doubt they will look to take full point off both teams who are in the bottom three.
