Billy Jones made his full debut on Saturday in the 3-0 win against Sunderland and looked one of the best midfielders on the pitch. The 16 year old was always highly rated from the age of 14. Dario said nothing surprises him when he comes to what the defender-cum-midfielder can do and that was echoed by vice captain David Wright, a fellow Crewe trainee...

Wrighty told CreweAlex.NET: “Bill did very well for us on Saturday but nothing surprises us with him. He is a very good player and he will become a great player in the future when he gains more experience.

“He is a very hard working lad and that showed against Sunderland. Nothing seems to faze him and he certainly didn’t let himself or his team-mates down. He is going to be some player in the future and he knows he will get the chance to develop at Crewe."
