25-year-old Woodards was offered a new contract by Gudjon Thordarson but with relegation to League Two, Woodards will look to ply his trade elsewhere.
Woodards who signed from then non-league Exeter City back in January 2007 made 84 league appearance for the Railwaymen.
This season Woodards made 37 league appearances for the Railwaymen and during that time did not pick up a booking. Also with the appointment of Gudjon Thordarson back in January the Iceman switched Woodards to the midfield.
It was to become a posistion where the former Chelsea academy player would flourish. Woodards made his last appearance in the 2-1 home defeat to Cheltenham Town.
Woodards is looking to move back down south and his former club Exeter City who have just been promoted to the League One could be interested as is Chartlon Athletic who had just been relegated from the Championship.
Thordarson told the official site 'There has been no decision made on Danny Woodards yet. I spoke to him yesterday and my inital reaction was that he wants to move back south.'
'We'll have to wait and see. He is one i will need to speak to again and there are one or two more, who have not been involved that much. I will continue to have talks with them over the next few days and see where we go from there.'
