Ben Williams has made point winning saves since signing onloan in March from Man Utd. There was much speculation over how long Williams will stay for but today Williams and Man Utd agreed to extend his loan deal until the end of the season.
The 21 year old 'keeper was pleased to be staying: “I’m pleased to have signed until the end of the season because it means I’m playing games and gaining more experience.
“It’s great to be involved at this level and there are some big games coming up starting at Watford tomorrow. Manchester United were happy for me to stay at Crewe and at this time of the season there is a lot at stake. "
Daio has expressed his interest at keeping the 'keeper for next season as well but Ben says discussions over that will wait till the summer.
He told crewealex.net: “I haven’t even thought about next season yet. I really am taking it one step at a time. That is something to be discussed in the summer but for the moment I’m just concentrating on the games we have left this season.”
