Stoke only needed a point today to stay up and send Brighton down, they took all 3 points as they beat play-off team Reading 1-0. Grimsby who were already guarenteed 24th place helped Stoke with a 2-2 draw. So we meet our rivals again next season as they survive the drop after looking down at Christmas.
