Dario was contacted by Mansfield after he had circulated Colin Little's name for a loan move. The Stags were in touch earlier in the week but Dario was releuctant to do a deal prior to our LDV Vans first round tie.
After our comfortable 4-0 victory at Field Mill on Tuesday night, Dario then agreed to allow Mansfield to take Colin on loan for a month. However, the Stags then stumbled around the wages of Little.
Dario then proposed that we take Andy White, a 20 year old, 6'4'' striker on loan for an equal period as cover for the international bound Dean Ashton. We then gain the oppertunity to take a closer look at the young prospect who has impressed Dario in our two meetings and also when Dario visited Edgeley Park to watch the Stags in action prior to our league game.
The two managers then agreed to continue to play their respective players wages whilst benefiting from the deal.
