Westwood feels break will benefit Railwaymen.

19-year-old Westwood feels that the unexpected winter break will help the club with players being able to recharge their batteries.

Westwood told BBC Radio Stoke "We've had a few days off, which helps us to recharge the batteries.

"With all the games that are being postponed, there's going to be a backlog of games and we'll be ready."

The Railwaymen have already see games at home to Torquay United and this weekends fixture against Grimsby Town fall foul to the weather while last weekends away trip to Hereford United was called off as well due to a frozen pitch.

Although the Torquay game (Tues 2nd Feb) and Hereford (Tues 19th Jan) games have been rearranged a prolonged winter snap could effect more games and put press on the team as they look to challange the play-offs as the look gain promotion at the first attpempt after the club was relegated last seaason.
