Nantwich v Crewe.

A strong Crewe team visited the Weaver Stadium on Wednesday and thumped a strong Nantwich Town side 7-2 in front of a crowd of around 500.
Goals from Mark Carrington, Eugen Bopp, Steve Schumacher and braces from Calvin Zola and Shaun Miller enhanced there chances of a recall to the squad no harm. Former Crewe youth player Dave Whittaker netted both goals for the Dabbers which also former fans favorite Rodney Jack turn out for Nantwich.

Carrington and Donaldson Ruled out of Terriers clash.

Mark Carrington has been ruled out of todays clash with Huddersfield Town after the player picked up a back injury in training. Carrington was an unused sub on Tuesday at Southend but featured in the 7-2 over Nantwich on Wednesday.

Clayton Donaldson is also ruled out of the Hudderfield Town game after coming in for some rought treatment at Roots Hall on Tuesday. A shocking tackle from Simon Francis in the 7th minute left the former Hibs striker needing lengthly treatment and Donaldson struggled until he came off in the 54th minute.

AGM Date set and club announces small profit.

Crewe 109th AGM will take place on Thursday 12 March but this year will only be open to shareholders. The club posted a £162,202 profit although this did not include the Nicky Maynard sale.
The accounts also showed that overall income was down £5,106,636 in 2007 to £3,790,684.
