Barnsleys awful start to the season continued as they only managed to draw 1-1 with Wycombe. Cardiff were live on Sky as they took on Tranmere at Ninian Park, after falling down to sixth after the 3pm kick offs they made it how it was affter moving back up to second after a Thorne double, Earhsaw pen and Easton hat-trik sealed their 4-0 easy win. This seasons surprise package continue to fall as Chesterfield only managed a goaless draw at home to Notts County.
Huddersfield came back from 1-0 down to Colchester to take a point in a 1-1 draw, Luton surprised top of the table Wigan with a first half but after the intervel it was back to normal service as Wigan took a hsare of the points to keep them ahead of the rest. Cheltenham lift off the bottom after a good 2-1 win at Northampton after going in at half time 1-1. Bristol City eased past Peterborough 3-1 to continue their 10 game unbeaten run and keep them well inside the hunting pack for promotion. Plymouth were well and truly done by Blackpool after losing 3-1 at home while QPR conceded a very late goal at home to Oldham to end their unbeaten home record 2-1. Stockport chased Brentford all the way through the game but eventually losing 3-2 while Swindon only managed to put 2 past Mansfield after going a goal behind.
