On their official site, Watford released the following statement:
The Hornets would like to confirm, in the light of current speculation, that they were approached by officials representing Wimbledon Football Club - currently in administration - with regard to the Dons ground-sharing at Vicarage Road.
Watford have, however, confirmed that they will not be pursuing the matter.
With Crewe's first game, vs Wimbledon, fast approaching, Wimbledon have until August 2nd to find a new home otherwise the game will automatically forfeitted by Wimbledon - resulting in three points for us.
