Crewe's left-sided midfielder David Vaughan looks set to miss the vital six-pointer against Brighton & Hove Albion this coming Saturday.
Vaughan who picked up a dead leg in training a few weeks ago has only just this week resumed training. Dario said "He is making good progress for us but I won't risk him on Saturday. That game has come too soon for him but he could be fit to play for Wales in mid-week."
This along with the absense of Billy Jones, who is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card the other week may give Tony Grant the chance to slot in to the midfield for Saturday's crunch match.
