Vaughan in Dragons Squad - Updated

Mark Hughes has yet again chosen to include Alex left back David Vaughan for the Welsh national squad in what is Wales' most important game since the 1950s: The Euro 2004 qualifying legs in Moscow on Saturday 15th November and Cardiff on Wednesday 19/11/03.

Hughes: "These two games are possibly the most important in the history of Welsh Football, as success will help to take the game in Wales to a higher level."

Vaughan has been in scintillating form for Crewe this season and made the step up from under-21's to the full squad for the friendly with the USA in the summer.

Former Crewe man Robbie Savage is also in the squad despite him being sidelined with an achilles problem and advised to be out of action for at least another fortnight by his club Birmingham City.

The BBC today announced that both games will be shown live on BBC1:
