Tierney played 85 minutes for Ireland U-21s under the watchful eye of Brian Kerr, the new Eire manager. Tierney had a fairly quiet match. first half he had no defensive work really but provided quite a few decent crosses, in the second half he hardly got past the halfway line but again wasn't tested defensively. Playing Scotland Eire got beat 2-0, a stunning free-kick in the first half left it open in the 2nd half However the Scots dominated and got another, despite missing a penalty. Tierney was subbed after 85 minutes.

Vaughan was also in action, this time for Wales U-20s. He played the full 90 minutes in a game Wales drew 0-0 with against South Korea U-20s.

No injuries are reported to either.

Still to come is Steve Jones who could see action for the Northern Ireland 1st team tonight Vs Finland.
