Vaughan & Ashton for U-21's

Unfortunately, due to the national media more arsed about Johnny Foreigners, it's hard to come by details on the U-21 internationals from Friday afternoon but here's a couple of things we know;

David Vaughan played for Wales U-21s in Azerbaijan, in the 2pm kick off. Vaugany helped the Welsh to a 1-0 win with Matthew Crowell scoring for Wales on the 83rd minute. Before hand, Wales went down to 10 men when defender Stuart Jones was sent off on the hour mark.

Dean Ashton, meanwhile, was left on the bench by Peter Taylor. The England U-21s came out triumpthant still. Carlton Cole and Darren Bent scoring either side of half time against Austria.
