             Tykes bound?
It is believed that Barnsley manager Andy Ritchie has offered the out of contract defender a two-year deal at Oakwell and Barnsley are awaiting a decision.
The 25-year-old Warrington born defender signed professional forms back in 1998 for the Alex after coming throught the academy.
The former England schoolboy international made his debut back in 1998-1999 season in a 1-0 defeat against Bury. It was not until the following season that Fozzie established himself at the heart of defence making 21 apperances. Foster has since go on to make 200 league apperances scoring 17 goals in the process. Last season he played 36 times, scoring 3 goals in the process but it was to end with relegation for the Alex. With him being offered terms at Gresty Road it seems the lure of Championship football and a new challange for Fozzie will ensure he signs for newly promoted Barnsley.
