Firstly The Mirror claim Liverpool youngster, Stephen Warnock, is to sign onloan for the Alex after he requested some first team football. The highly rated left back spent the end of last season on-loan at Bradford City, and with Dario in frantic search of a good left back Warnock may be the key.

Meanwhile, The Sentinel say Dario will look at a former Crewe youth striker. Eddie Johnson, now at Man Utd, was snatched from the Crewe academy a few years ago along with Lee Sims after which Man Utd had to pay compensation. Eddie Johnson who figured alot in United's Youth Cp win this season will be looked at as a possible season long loan.

Dario told the Sentinel he hopes to tie up loan deals for a back up keeper and a left back - both from Premiership teams, and a left back isn't former loanee Tierney!

"We might have solved the left-back and goalkeeper problems. We think we have been able to do that with loans without both being tied up yet."
