Maybe you could say Wigan are the only other ones who are staying consistent as we've taken a look at how one massive gap between 5th place and 6th place can be closed so quickly by other teams faltering. For one Bristol City have lost 10 points over 6th place since the turn of the year, Cardiff have lost 8 points, Oldham have lost 7.... us? Well our 10 point gap remains.
Wigan -
01 Jan '03 = 22 points clear of 6th
23 Feb '03 = 19 points clear of 6th
Cardiff -
01 Jan '03 = 13 points clear of 6th
23 Feb '03 = 5 points clear of 6th
Bristol City -
01 Jan '03 = 12 points clear of 6th
23 Feb '03 = 2 points clear of 6th
Oldham -
01 Jan '03 = 12 points clear of 6th
23 Feb '03 = 5 points clear of 6th
CREWE -
01 Jan '03 = 10 points clear of 6th
23 Feb '03 = 10 points clear of 6th
Maybe it's not surprising with us having lost just one league game and only drawing 3 league games since November, that's some record. While Tuesdays visitors have lost just one game in the league since August, which will soon change. So is it surprising the top two are the two most consistent performers in the league?
If we can get through our next five games with losing i will be a very happy man as i Cardiff, Oldham and Bristol City are more than likely going to falter again and we will just pull further clear. It's there for the taking.
