The stats don't lie!

OK so we are three games in to the new campaign and many supporters are asking themselves where out next win will come.
The Alex face a daunting task of trying get their first win of the season and with Bradford at home this Saturday followed by Brighton away and Huddersfield at home we could find ourselves in the bottom four.

The recent poll on here asked where our next win will come from 43.5% thought we would have won on Saturday at Scunthorpe and with missed chances we could have done. A further 17% think we may get out first win against Bradford City this coming Saturday, 13% think we may get a result against Brighton and Cheltenham. 11% think we may get our first win against Bournemouth with a further 2% saying we will get it against Huddersfield in front of the cameras.

A fair few will say that our demise has been down to the sale of Dean Ashton and not really replacing him and addressing a leaky defence but the following stats don't lie. Crewe have only won 9 out of 71 games since the sale of Ashton back in January 2005. Is the sign of a genius or an idiot, you decide? Another stat to add insult to injury is that during the 71 games Crewe have managed to score 82 goals but then have conceded a staggering 143 this is with 7 goals already conceded in the first three games.

Could any other manager get away with such a diabolical record? Also throw in comments from John Bowler saying we were looking for a top six place only for Dario to blow that into the space by saying we will not get promotion.
If he comes out with comments like that then surely he then need to address the situation by bringing in some players on loan before the transfer deadline.

I have now added a new poll to see what the feeling is amongst the supporters.
