Crewe have sealed the services of Andy Taylor for another month from Blackburn Rovers.
The 20-year-old has impressed over the last month and helped fill the left back position vacated by the injured Billy Jones.
It also meant that with Jones returning from injury, Crewe boss Dario Gradi opted to play Jones in central defence roll due to the absence of Neil Cox and Julien Baudet.
Gradi wanted to tie Taylor down for a second month before the loan deadline of this Thursday although a chance of another month maybe a big asked as it is reported that Birmingham City are interested in the player.
Blackburn born Taylor will sign the loan papers this morning before preparation to Crewe's home game to Cup Killers Chesterfield.
