Crewe play their last pre-season game tonight as they take on Newcastle Town at the Lyme Valley Stadium (7.30pm KO).
Patrick Suffo looks set to start as the Cameroon international looks to impress and gain some valuable fitness since his arrival two weeks ago.
Suffo who has played for Coventry City and Sheffield United and hs also played for a few team in Europe. Suffo will be remembered for the part of the 'Battle of Bramall Lane' in which he was sent off for head-butting West Brom's Derek McInnes and that also resulted with game being abandoned due to Sheff United only having six players on the pitch.
Ben Rix, Stuart Tomlinson and Mat Bailey will also feature tonight along with some of the youngsters, these include Junior Daniel and Nick Farquharson.
Newcastle's manager Greg Clowes will be expecting a tough workout, he told The Stoke Sentinal "It'll be a tough game because we know the way Crewe like to play. If we get the ball we will have to make sure we keep hold of it. They are technically very good and their young players will want to impress.
"I'm expecting them to close us down quickly and put us under pressure - perhaps more than the senior players, who would probably see it more like a training game."
