With the nickname Stitch aswell as Sicknote he has ironically only made three starts for Derby - because of injuries. Walton is currently returning from his latest injury to help him get over it he is joining Stockport on a months loan.
Walton isn't the only former Alex player to make the move to Stockport this season, Shaun Smith had a month there, onloan from Hull, earlier this season whilst Wayne Collins spent a few months on a pay-as-you-play contract.
