Stefan Oakes has played 60 times in the Premiership for Leciester but since relegation and Micky Adams took over he's not had a chance. He recently had a trial with Scottish club Hibs but nothing evolved from it.
With Paul Tierney and David Vaughan both out for the Stockport game on Ireland U-21s and Wales U-20s internationals we will be missing our whole left side. Stefan was then suggested by Dave Basset, former Leciester manager and Director of Football, to Dario who accepted the offer.
Stefan is here for a month and will travel to Plymouth tomorrow and probably sit on the bench.
Wonder if he will bring good luck like our last left back loanee, Tierney.
