Slovakian Striker Pavol Suhaj is to undergo a 4-day trial this week as he aims to win a contract with the club. The 24-year old AS Trencin striker bagged 15 goals for his side last season and previously enjoyed a spell with Greek side Patraikos Patras.
Trencin manager Robert Rybnicek said, "Pavol Suhaj has a contract with our team for one more year, so representatives of the English club have come to an agreement with us as well." It is believed that this 'agreement' simply allows Suhaj to come on trial and if he impresses, the clubs will then have to reach a further agreement. However, it appears that Trencin believe that their hitman will be back with them for the start of their season on Saturday, "He will come back to Slovakia after the tests sure so he can play in a game of the first round of the Corgon Liga vs Banska Bystrica on Saturday."
It is also believed that an unnamed Belgian central defender is on trial with the club.
