Shock Transfer Scramble For Wright!!

The move is believed to have come last week when Leeds enquired about the right back. Fulham were just sitting back to see if Leeds would make a bid but today The Sun and Teletext are running the story that David Wright will be a Fulham player by 5pm.

The premiership transfer window closes at 5pm and so Fulham only have hours left. After Fulham sold Steve Finnan to Liverpool they have been after a left back ever since and after faliure to sign Sunderland's, now at Man City, Claudio Reyna the Fulham manager, Chris Coleman, turned his attentions to David Wright.

Coleman is thought to be in talks to take Wright to Loftus Road for £500k +.

Im gutted as Wright was really becoming a unsung hero with excellent performaces for the past 14 months. I would've hoped we could get more than £500k.
