FORMER RED Mark Rivers rejoined Crewe on a two-year deal on Tuesday. The 28-year-old's ex-club Norwich City will continue to pay a percentage of his wages for his first year.

ALSO ON Tuesday, Crewe beat Everton 2-1 at Gresty Road, with Steve Jones and namesake Billy on the scoresheet. Kevin Campbell was on target for the Merseysiders.
