Altrincham have swooped for two ex-Crewe players as look to push up the Blue Square Premier league next season.
19-year-old Cavell Coo was released at the end of last season and has had an excellent pre-season for the Robins. Coo had a loan spell at Unibond First Division side Woodley Sports in December 2006.
Former midfielder Gareth Whalley was released by Swindon Town at the end of last season and will add some valuable experiance to the Robins midfield.
Whalley had been training at The Heath and had a trial with Bury during the summer and it was reported that Northwich Victoria were interested in him.
33-year-old Whalley has made 361 appearances for five league clubs and he will link up with former Crewe team mate Colin Little.
