Crewe boss Dario Gradi may have to delve in the loan market as Crewe look set to be without two key midfield players for the next few weeks.

Michael O'Connor was stretchered off after 54 minutes after a crunching tackle involving two Bristol City players. Gradi told reporters ‘
It is a bad one with Michael. He has opened up his knee joint and it looks, as though there will be ligament damage'.
Also to compound The Railwaymen's misery, Gary Roberts was given his marching orders on 69 minutes. It seems that Bristol City's captain Lois Carey went in on Roberts with both feet but it was Roberts who was punished rather harshly. Crewe boss Dario Gradi may now look at the video evidence before he decides whether or not to appeal. If he decides not to appeal then Roberts will miss the next three matches against Blackpool, Man Utd and Rotherham United.
