Chester born Roberts made his debut back in 2004 against Burnley and a few months later signed professional forms with the Railwaymen. Since then Roberts has become a regular in the first team and made 118 league appearances netting eleven times.
Roberts is contracted to the club until the summer of 2009 and with interest from the teams above the club may look to cash in instead of waiting for the player to run down his contract and go through a tribunal.
