21-year-old Roberts now looks set to be recalled to the squad ahead of the crucial local derby against Port Vale. Roberts had been disciplined by the club for an incident last week at Reaseheath himself and another player.
Now Holland expects the Chester born midfielder to knuckle down for the remainder of the season and focus on the job at hand and help the Railwaymen steer away from the relegation zone.
Holland told www.crewealex.net "We will not let the behaviour of one individual harm the spirit of the team. Crewe Alexandra Football means a lot to a lot of people, supporters and staff alike and we are in this together"
"If someone is not pulling in the right direction then they are harming what we are trying to achieve here. We have a fight on our hands at the wrong end of the table, and hopefully we can rely on everyone to be up for the challange."
Holland also said "We have dealt with the matter in-house and hopefully Gary will be focused on his job from now on."
This is the second time in as many month's that Roberts has been dropped from the first team with the last incident occuring in January when the player failed to turn up for training.
Robert's was expected to make his 100th league start agasint Forest and will be hoping for that chance tomorrow against Port Vale.
