Re-Vaughan In The USA

Vaughan, who turned 20 today, played at left back for Wales in the USA. Vaughany did make a few good runs and a good first few minutes clearence but Wales lost 2-0 after Matthew Jones gave away a penalty for, USA star, Landon Donavon to stick away four minutes from half time. Four minutes after half time and the yanks doubled their lead with PNE midfielder Eddie Lewis scoring.
Vaughan impressed the Wales boss, Mark Hughes, and after the match Hughes gave Vaughan the credit -
"We took a lot of positives out of the game.
"Young David Vaughan did very, very well - and Jason Koumas had a lot of quality on the ball."
