Crewe Alexandra are cursing their decision not to take Man Utd's Guiseppe Rossi in the early months of the season. When Manchester United approached Crewe suggesting a 'link-up' between the two sides, players such as Gerard Pique and Guiseppe Rossi, amongst others, were touted as possible youngsters we would be able to take on loan.
Rossi has shown his potential in recent months with his movement and creativity dazzling many spectators in the League Cup game against West Brom earlier in the season. Consequently, it appears unlikely that 'Fergie' will allow him to leave on loan in January, especially to a Championship club.
However, Man Utd will offer Pique on loan to various Championship clubs in January in order for him to gain some experience though with various foreign defenders on trial, it appears unlikely that Crewe will pursue Pique.
