Reading Deny Steve Jones Bid

Preston seem to be frontrunners in this series of rumours doing the rounds that Steve Jones may have played his last Alex game. Preston and Derby have both had a £300,000 bid, apparently, rejected by the club.

Reading were also thought to have made a bid for the 27 year old but they deny it: "We have not made a bid for Steve Jones." Said their Director of Football, Nick Hammond, in a short and sweet mode.

But one worrying sign is, after strong links that atleast Derby and Preston have bid... why are Crewe saying nothing about it?
