With the Railwaymen failing to find the net on Tuesday against Carlisle United the management team hope to bring in a striker before the away trip to Northampton Town (Cobblers!!)
One potential target is former Walsall striker Matty Fyatt who is at Championship side Leicester City. 21-year-old Fryatt joined the Foxes back in January 2006 for a fee in the region of £350k.
Fryatt has made 20 appearances this season netting only two goals with his last goal coming in the clubs 2-0 away win at Bristol City back in November that day also saw Fryatt get his marching orders.
Although the Railwaymen have watched Fryatt along with some other strikers the Alex could have competition from Nottingham Forest and Fryatt's former club Walsall who are believed to be interested.
