21-year-old Dodds who was a England youth player was offered a new contract by chairman Milan Mandaric but the player turned it down so that he could decided about the new manager Nigel Pearson.

New Foxes manager Nigel Pearson decided to leave the striker out of the travelling party to Slovenia. With that omission a few clubs have been alerted by his agent, these include Lincoln City, Rochdale, Bradford City, Cheltenham Town, Darlington, Port Vale and Crewe Alexandra.

The first two teams Rochdale and Lincoln City have had Dodds on loan in 2007 and then in 2007-08 respectivly with Dodds making 41 appearances for the Imps netting 9 times in the process.

Even though Dodds is out of contract he would still command a fee because of his age which could either be decided by the club or via a tribunal.
