Holland who has been tracking former stiker Jones for sometime will hopefully tie up a loan deal on Thursday.

31-year-old Jones has been ruled out since January after picking up a knee injury at Coventry City which scuppered Crewe's plans to take him on loan then.
Jones has only just returned to training and has played in three reserve games since these against Chester, Accrington Stanley and today agsinst Morecambe which the Clarets won 7-1 but with Jones failing to net.

Any move will be down to Clarets boss Owen Coyle and dependent on any loan signings for Burnley as they push for the play-offs.
