Holland told the official site "I made a tentative enquiry about Gary Breen. I spoke to Mick McCarthy about him and he had nothing but praise for him, as a professional and a leader"
"We could do with a bit more experience in there and Breen certainly has that in abundance.
"I spoke to his agent and said if there was any interest from Gary to get back to me. That hasn't happened so I don't think anything will happen there."
