Congleton Town and Nantwich Town both hosted games against a Crewe XI. The teams were half first team and half youth and trialists. The likes of Bankole, Lunt, Foster, Jones, McCready and Wright played at Congleton, with no trialists in the team at Congleton.

Meanwhile. Sodje, new signing Adie Moses, Rix, Brammer and Robinson headed off to Nantwich. Four trialists started against Nantwich. St Mirren keeper Kris Robertson, Hayes midfielder Just Crochane, former Vale and Reading left back Alex Smith and American kid Chris Karagionus played up front.

The Congleton game was hard fought but two goals from youth striker Carl Frost sealed a 2-1 win.

It was happier in Nantwich. A hat-trick from Chris Karagionus with Sodje, Robinson and sub Paul Edwards getting goals the Alex recorded a easy 6-0 win over Nantwich.

Views on the Nantwich game, new signing Adie Moses and trialists will be on the site soon.
