Crewe have also arranged a pre-season game away to Nationwide Conference outfit Forest Green Rovers, the clubs have yet to set a date but it will be Crewe's first visit to the New Lawn stadium in Gloucestershire. Forest Green are managed by ex-player Jim Harvey who took over earlier on in the season and guided them to mid-table safety.
Other games have been muted such as a visit to Nantwich Town's new ground Kingsley Fields and also the annual vist to Quorn.
