Dario Gradi looks set to recall Irish midfielder Michael O'Connor for the visit of Notts Forest this Saturday.
The competitive midfielder has missed the last nine games after being stretched off with a knee injury, which he picked up in Crewe's 2-1 defeat to Bristol City.

Luckily the injury did not require surgery and all that was needed was plenty of rest. O'Connor who has come through full training and will look to replace an out of sorts Ryan Lowe who had a poor game on Tuesday against Oldham.

Also vying for a place this Saturday are Michael Higdon, Nicky Maynard and Lee Matthews.
