Clayton Ince – Solid display from the Trinidad 'keeper. Dominant in claiming crosses, distribution was good, left with little chance from Howard’s strike. 7/10

David Wright – The versatile fullback was confident in attack and impressive in defence. His passing was controlled and he seems to be returning to the form that he failed to show during last season. 7/10

Richard Walker – The academy gradute wasn’t at his best, struggled to shackle the threat of Howard and was caught pushing for offside when Thorpe beat Ince only for the ball to roll fortunately wide. He wasn’t as dominant in the air and missed a great headed chance from Lunt’s free-kick. 6/10

Stephen Foster – The Warrington born centre-back was solid in the tackle and his passing was solid. Failed to intercept Davis' cross for the goal but put in a solid display. 7/10

Efe Sodje – The Nigerian was poor, his passing was woeful and he failed to take advantage of space on his wing. Didn’t aid Jonah in attack and his crossing was poor. 5/10

Kenny Lunt – Lacked fluency from his recent good form. Failed to pose a goal threat and his passing wasn’t at its best. He lacked conviction in his long balls and his overall display was below par. 6/10

Dave Brammer – Typical industrious display from the captain. His vision and tackling were superb. He held the midfield together whilst those around his failed to shine. 8/10

Neil Sorvel – Lacked drive and his controlled performance lacked charisma. He never looked to attack and Luton’s pressing and their ability to shut us down at pace exposed his one-dimensional play. 6/10

Steve Jones – Northern Irish international was given no supply or support. Gave 100% but spent most of the game chasing aimless balls into the corner. His shooting was poor when he was given space on the edge of the Luton box on a number of occasions, lacked composure. 6/10

Rodney Jack - The St. Vincent frontman was played too deep. He had the beating of his marker but wasn’t threatening their goal enough. His pace caused problems but needed to be played further forward to maximise his ability. 7/10

Rob Hulse - Given no service of any note, his efforts were in vain as he was restricted to long range efforts. Man marked by the Luton rearguard, was unlucky with a fine turn and shot, which rebounded off the outside of the post. His tireless workrate was again phenomenal but he wasn’t able to continue his fine scoring run. 7/10
