Johnson, now 24, started his career with Crewe and was highly rated amongst the nationwide. Linked with moves to Liverpool and Derby back in March 1999 he rejected Derby to stay with Crewe to help save us from relegation from Division One. In the summer of 99 he move to Derby for £3million.

He moved to Leeds United in 2001 for £7million. His career rapidly went wrong. A knee injury has seen him struggle for the past 2 years and seen him only play 24 games for Leeds. Middlesborough pulled out of a deal to buy Seth after they felt his knee wasn't up to it.

On Wednesday night Johnson was caught drink driving on the M62 near Bradford. Peter Reid said the matter will be dealt within the club and there will e no further comment from Leeds United.

The case will be considered by the Crown Prosecution Service. Seth will though be involved in Leeds' up coming games.
