Last week Jones was declared unfit for the next month or two after the horror tackle from Tony Dinning in a heated affair between Wigan and Crewe at gresty Road. Jones had a suspected broken leg but he soon recovered and played 90 minutes on Saturday vs Peterborough. On Tuesday he came on in the 85th minute andf by the 88th minute he had been kicked in the face and knocked his head into the advertising boards, he had a suspected broken cheekbone, it led to Dario saying he's out for the season.
After a big turn around it seems Jones hasn't broke his cheekbone and Radio Stoke report he'll be on the bench at Preton Park.
It's all too confusing now.
