Oakes on his way out of Walsall

Stefan Oakes was onloan from Leicester last season for the last 3 months of the season in a hope to bolster creative midfielders in the promotion push. He made 11 appearance's in a red shirt down the left wing and impressed Crewe fans with his class touches and good vision.

In the summer Dario said Stefan Oakes was a luxuary that the club couldn't afford despite being released by Leicester City, but Oakes found a home at Walsall.

Oakes has only played 4 games for Walsall and after rumoured falling out's between him and Walsall manager Colin Lee has seen him placed up for loan.
