If we beat Bristol City on our home patch it will give every Crewe fan belief that we can take that all important 2nd spot. At the moment noone would bet against it with our defence as solid as ever and our team looking more frash from injuries with Hulse, Foster, Rix and Jones all returning from a few weeks of injuries. Along with that we've seen players reborn. Ashton looks the player which made him look super human 2 years ago while Sorvel has been kidknapped and replaced with his twin brother. Walton and Walker have found a rich vein of form recently and Kenny Lunt seems to have shaken off a few of his hate club members.
However this counts for not much at the moment, it's the result we need. Our defence needs to stay firm tomorrow night otherwise Bristol City can damage. Attacking wise we need to get at them from the start. Annoy them, bug them, get in where we can, take no cr*p, hassle them for 90 minutes and just don't let them settle. Bristol City don't have a great defensive record so every attacking player needs to work their arse off so we can really damage them.
Shamefully nicked from cardiffcity.com we have the tables of how the table could look after a number of scenarios. Take into account the Welsh play on Wednesday.
