The highly rated 19 year old played 20 games last season but over the summer he has been left falling down the pecking order with the signing of Justin Cochrane he alsohas Neil Sorvel and Ben Rix to challenge for a place in the team with.

Lee Bell was left at home for the trip to Burnley with Neil Sorvel returning to the squad for the first time this season. Dario today spoke to Bell who asked if he could go out onloan but Dario said no.

"Lee has come to me and asked if he can go out onloan and play first team games elsewhere, but I felt he was better off with us at the moment"

Dario went on to say that Bell is better off in the reserve games where Crewe can control his style of play.

"The reserves faced a strong Everton team last week and Tranmere this week, so he is getting some games against decent opposition. I don't think it would be benificial to his developement if he was to go out and play kick and rush football every week."
