The on-off saga of will John Brayford move to Derby County rumbles on with Derby County chairman Adam Pearson telling the Derby Evening Telegraph that the club had a bid turned down for the former Burton Albion defender in January.
Pearson also said that they are still considering which way to go with it.
In recent days the Railwaymen have said on record that the club have not received any bid and also Brayford himself was saying he was looking forward to a hard pre-seasons training and hoping to get the Alex out of League Two.
It now seems it will be a matter of time before Derby County up the ante and possibly match the asking price the Alex have placed on Brayford with the Railwaymen having to pay 20% to Burton.
